Villa alle Rane is a historic villa in Tuscany with 350 sqm of interiors, a 1500 sqm private park, a pond and spaces designed for families and groups of up to 7 guests. An elegant and peaceful base between Lake Massaciuccoli, the Versilia beaches and the art cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence.

"Designed by architect Seresini in 1958, lived in for three generations by a family of Pisan physicians. Known in the area for its beauty."
The style belongs to the tradition of Italian postwar lowland villas. Acquired in 2023 and carefully restored, the villa preserves original floors, generous proportions and an atmosphere no boutique hotel can replicate.
Every room tells a story and every space invites you to slow down: breakfasts in the gazebo, reading on the veranda, dinners under the trees and children free to play in the park. Villa alle Rane is for those looking for an authentic, elegant and truly liveable villa in Tuscany.

Villa alle Rane is in Bozzano, a quiet village in the municipality of Massarosa: a discreet place, away from the busiest tourist flows, yet surprisingly convenient for reaching some of north-western Tuscany’s most interesting destinations. From here you can alternate sea, lake, nature and art cities: Lake Massaciuccoli is nearby, Lucca and Versilia are about 15 minutes away, Pisa and its airport about 30 minutes away. Florence, Cinque Terre and the Apuan Alps can be reached as day trips.

This house immediately sparked my imagination: found in a state of semi-abandonment, I was able to dream it into what it is today. I also built a few things — if you like the kitchen tables and the gazebo with tiles inspired by the style of Southern Italy... well, I made them!
